Tasting Room Associate
The ideal candidate loves people, loves wine, loves to make small talk with guests and enjoys working in a positive and fast-paced environment. The primary responsibilities of this role will be conducting fun and personable tastings, educating guests on our wines and the BC wine industry, processing transactions, all while providing exceptional customer service.

Tasting Associates will also have an opportunity to work a variety of fun and compelling events, from Concerts, Festivals, Private events, Weddings and special Okanagan Villa Performances. Winery, sales, retail or hospitality experience is a requirement. WSET or other beverage qualification is an advantage. Full product training will be provided.
Tasting Host Responsibilities:
Equal parts entertaining, educating and promoting products to our guests
Conduct fun and personable tastings for every group
Ensure tasting room and gift shop are kept to standards
Promote events food and beverage offers at The Vibrant Vine.
Process transactions
Restock wine and gift shop items
Provide exceptional customer service to all guests
Report any customer issues to management
Assist with opening/closing tasks
Banquet service – up to and including bar service and serving
Offsite and Liquor Stores pourings
Tasting Host Required Qualifications:
Valid SIR certificate
Team player who looks for ways to help out other employees whenever needed
Flexible schedule, must be available to work weekends
Winery, Sales, Retail, Hospitality experience
Ability to work 6+ hours on your feet at a time
Ability to lift 40lbs
Excellent communication skills and a Vibrant personality
