Kansas-Lee epitomizes solo artistry complete; intuitive and vulnerable songwriting, delivered with conviction and strength, with a voice that pours out from the depths of her soul like honey. Paired with rhythmic guitar playing, her music resonates through the heart, echoing truth and inspiring movement.
She’s released three self produced albums, and recently released her fourth album, “Ostara”, recorded at Record Room Studios in Kelowna. Enabling her to build on her songs with multiple musicians, playing many different instruments herself, and making them come to life. She tours BC every summer and has enchanted audiences across Canada, England, and Spain, with her soulful folk songs, memorable presence, and impeccable voice.

Producer, founder of the Cellar Live Music Group and label, touring artist, president of the Fraser McPherson Jazz Fund, educator, booking manager for Frankie’s Jazz Club in Vancouver, and radio show host, it is a wonder what Cory Weeds doesn’t do.
The Moonlight Jazz Society is extremely honoured and pleased to present Juno and Grammy Award winning multi-faceted jazz Tenor Saxophonist Cory Weeds for our last concert of this exceptional inaugural first season at the Vibrant Vine Winery in East Kelowna, May 3rd, 2024.
Most recently, his label was awarded a Grammy for work with the Generation Gap Jazz Orchestra in 2023, and was listed as #8 in Downbeat Magazine’s Record Label of the Year. He was also listed as the #2 Rising Star Producer. His reach extends across the border and into New York City where he connects Vancouver players with New York’s best, and hosts the annual New York With Weeds Tour: 35 lucky souls join him on a journey into the nitty gritty of New York’s real live hidden jazz scene.

Daniel Lew live!

Daniel Lew is a Chinese-Canadian folk-pop artist with a mission to uplift the world. 10 years ago, he went deaf in his left ear and developed tinnitus. This trauma catalyzed his music journey. His songs have been called a self-help book due to their honest and introspective nature. He has released 3 albums, amassed over 300 performances, and has been featured by Jade Music Festival, TAIWANfest, Pancouver Magazine, and Daily Hive Vancouver. Recently, Daniel received praise from both Jacob Collier and Ed Sheeran while he was busking. Ed invited him backstage to his show where he had the opportunity to play a song and share insights about their music journeys.
In June 2023, he released his summer anthem “Alive (The Ocean Song)”. Produced by Braeden “Pockets” Rangno (Kimmortal), and featuring synth bass from Grammy Award winning producer/artist Pomo (Jon Batiste, Anderson .Paak, Mac Miller). A live performance was featured by Daily Hive Vancouver and amassed 182,000 views, and landed in rotation at UK based radio station “The Sound Lab”.
Recently, Daniel received funding from Creative BC’s Career Development program, and is recording a new album that is on pace to be released May 2024. He is supporting the release of the album with a Canadian tour.
He has a vision of increasing the representation of under-represented artists in the music industry, and is leading a team made primarily of Asian-Canadians.
Daniel is embracing the momentum of his journey and is showing no signs of slowing down.

He’s scored five Top 10 hits in Canada, 2009′s “I Wanna Be Your Christmas”, 2010’s “Loving You Tonight” which was lodged in the upper reaches of the charts for more than 22 weeks. 2011’s “I Want You”, 2015’s “What You Wanted” and 2016’s “Favourite Christmas Song”!
His benchmark single “Loving You Tonight”, a lilting, sunny tune about an ideal romance, got Andrew signed to EPIC Records and helped put Andrew on tour with acts like Bruno Mars, One Republic, Andy Grammer, The Script, Train, Joshua Radin and The Barenaked Ladies… with the official music video garnering more than 4 million views and over 100,000 copies sold worldwide.

Local trio made up of two singers and a sax playing groovin melodies of pop, disco, blues, rock and jazz. Libby Coulthard (Libster) has been featured in several local bands including the successful rock group Instario. Katie D’Agosto (Fletch) the Okanagan winner of the David Foster Star search has been featured in Sista B and the Boyz and Jesse Zeman (JZ) the sunglass wearing sax player who can play a tune to any song and been given high honors by Diana Krall.

Hendrika is a force to be reckoned with. From her bluegrass roots to teenaged rock rebellion, to jazz focused college years, her love for many genres has led to a versatile and unique collection of original material that pushes the boundaries of modern music in all the right ways. Selina Heyligers-Hare (band leader) is a vocalist, guitarist, pianist, bassist and songwriter with a diploma in Music & Technology from Selkirk College. She is a member of bands such as Major Funk (two time WCMA nominees) , Paris Pick (FocusWales 2021, Keychange ) and the Naysayers (Coax Records).
Fresh off their Spring Tour 2023 through BC and Alberta, Hendrika is already gaining traction in Western Canada. Festivals that she has played as Hendrika include: Atlin Arts and Music Fest, East Town Get Down, Blue Feather Music Festival and more. Her most recent solo show of note was opening for Jenn Grant at the Yukon Arts Centre. For Hendrika, the stage is home, she emanates a star quality while still being humble and kind in character, proficient in all her instruments and absolutely captivating.
She is working on a new studio album this winter to be released in summer 2024 with a subsequent tour on the docket including Yukons own Dawson City Music Festival.

Hot sounds from Havana, Puerto Rico, Mexico, New York and Brazil. The Regals are a 4 piece 50’s/60’s classic rock dance band with a modern sound, consisting of Bob Silverside on Keys, Ed Turner on guitar, Ricky Choy on drums and Roy Kawano on bass. We are seasoned, accomplished musicians who came together because of a mutual attraction and joy in performing 50’s/60’s music.
We also feature Larry Branson, a renowned Roy Orbison tribute artist.

Brother Down has a well-earned reputation for their on-stage chemistry, tight arrangements, and crowd-pleasing song selections. They’ve showcased their talent on stages large and small, from bars, churches, cafés, and festival stages throughout the Okanagan. The band is anchored by the solid rhythm section of drummer Chris Schriek and bassist Robby Mac, and fronted by the improvisational prowess of guitarist David Schriek and Daniel Young’s keyboard wizardry. Brother Down augments their musicianship with three- and four-part harmonies.

Cat Wells is a Canadian Blues artist, vocalist, song writer with ballsy vocals and expressive stage presence. Her ever flexible, near 4 octave voice has been compared to Susan Tedeschi, Beth Hart and Janis Joplin. Cat’s early mentors were Billie Holiday and Etta James. She has been honoured as Vocalist of the year twice by the Okanagan Arts Council and has been featured in Okanagan Life Magazine and Wild Life Magazine. Some of her Career highlights include support for Jeff Healey, Harpdog Brown, Trooper, Doug and the Slugs, ZZ Top and Countless others. She has released 2 CDs’ “Cat Wells Live with the Bowman Trio” and “Cat Wells – Bootleg Blues”.
She is now set to release her new compilation “Anything and Everything” featuring artists Jason Buie, Johnny Ferreira (Colin James band) and (the late) Sonny Rhodes.

The Legendary Lake Monsters are a dynamic and entertaining horn-driven 11-piece Party / Dance band.

Michael Daniels is a country music singer/songwriter, born in Regina and raised throughout Western Canada. He first started singing and playing guitar at his family’s Saskatchewan cabin when he was a kid, learning the three-chord cowboy songs strummed by his Grandma and Uncles. His love for music grew as he did, yet it wasn’t until university that he began writing songs. After winning a local songwriting contest, he submitted his Maple Creek-recorded portfolio around Nashville and started working with multiple CCMA-award-winner, Gil Grand. His debut single, “Betting on Red”, was released to radio in 2018.
Since then, Michael has booked performances across the globe, with notable shows taking place in the Middle East, the USA, Cavendish Beach Festival (sharing the stage with hit writers, Gordie Sampson and Steve Azar), Sunfest and the Calgary Stampede. In 2019, he was a semi-finalist in the “International Songwriting Competition” for his song, “Yours Tonight”. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he turned his attention to social media and quickly amassed tens of thousands of followers on TikTok with millions of views. His 2021 TikTok song, “Sunset Left”, gained 3 million plays and on April 12th, 2022, landed him on the TV show, “Canada’s Got Talent”, where judge, Howie Mandel, commended his performance.

It has been said that all Canadian writing inevitably reflects the almost impenetrable vastness of the land and the great distances that separate us. If ‘The Road We Once Knew’ by the Eisenhauers, the husband and wife duo of Jeremy Eisenhauer and Sheree Plett Eisenhauer, is any indication, you’d be hard pressed not to come to the same conclusion about Canadian music. Simple, spare and heartbreaking in its directness, the concepts of distance, time and the wavering arcs of separation and reunion have rarely been as compellingly explored as they are in their powerful music.
In April of 2024 the musical duo have been in the studio again with producer Steve Dawson (Old Man Luedecke, The Sojourners) and are releasing a new LP soon.
